I think I'm going to go with Repair. It's just too good to pass up, especially if anyone in Alpha ever gets MEC'd and we get drone capture. However, I was thisclose to picking Lock N' Load, simply because it suits Michael's character as a loudmouth, gun slinging combat engineer so well... but I'm sure he can drop a few good one-liners after tazing some aliens.

Not sure littlebaron would be on in time for the update.
I suggest giving Tadala VPT. She looks sturdy enough and we can hope for no bullshit crits, right?

Promoted after Operation Final SleepLT Cristoph GrarockChoose perk - Flush - Fire a shot that encourages enemies to move. The shot is easy to hit with (+30 aim), but does reduced damage (-50% damage).
- Close Combat Specialist - Confers a reaction shot against any enemy who closes to within 4 tiles. Does not require Overwatch. Warning: Will activate even if unit is concealed.
- Bring 'Em On - Confers bonus damage on critical hits when multiple enemies are in view (including squad sight). Specifically: +1 for 1-2 enemies, +2 for 3-4 enemies, +3 for 5-6 enemies, +4 for 7 or more enemies.
SGT Tadala AzikiweChoose perk - Hit and Run - Your first standard shot of each turn against an uncovered or flanked target does not cost an action. Does not work against flying units, and cannot be used if Run N' Gun activated.
- Close Encounters - The first standard shot made within 4 tiles of the target does not cost an action. Cannot combine with Run And Gun.
- Rapid Fire - Take two shots against a single target in quick succession. Each shot carries a -15 penalty to Aim.
CPL Rebecca WinfreyChoose perk - Aggression - Confers +10% critical chance per enemy in sight (max +30%). Aliens visible via squadsight are not counted for bonus.
- Lock N' Load - Primary weapons receive one additional shot or burst before a reload is required, and you may reload your primary weapon as the first action of your turn without ending the turn.
- Lone Wolf - +10 Aim and Critical Chance if not within 7 tiles of an allied unit.
LCPL Maria Espalda RodriguezSuggest perk - Sprinter - Grants +4 mobility (roughly 3 tiles movement).
- Resilience - Confers immunity to critical hits.
- Extra Conditioning - Confers 1-4 bonus health based on which type of armor is equipped. Heavier armor increases the bonus.

Rebecca loves her guns, she tries to know every aspect of a new gun she is given and given enough time, she will know the ins and outs of it better than the manufacturers themselves! This no doubt improves her efficiency with it.
Also, Lock N' Load is the best damn perk for an Infantry. Rebecca will take it!

I would say flush, as christoph rather kills the aliens before they close in, and he doesnt really rely on critical hits.
And flush seems to be the best overall perk for the build.

Although you can't flush and suppress, which limits the usability of the perk. Plus Nikole has flush. Although it isn't like Thenlar ever uses it.

I actually suggest Close Combat Specialist, Grarock strikes me as the guy who wants to MAKE SURE no one gets past him to harm his squadmates. Because if someone did... well... another scar for him. CCS is a good way of doing this, for those times Thenlar forgets about sneaky aliens (if he ever does I mean... he's not THAT type of Commander ;P)
